Liebherr R924 Compact Tracked Excavator
Presented here is the limited edition Liebherr R924 Compact tracked excavator model in 1:50th scale from Conrad, finished in the Kibag company livery and exclusive to Heavy Transport Models.
The undercarriage has been replicated very well, with the lower roller detailing integrated into the track frame casting. The idler wheels are sprung loaded, allowing the individually linked metal tracks to remain taut and rotate smoothly.

The newly styled cab is highly detailed with handrails and internal controls all modelled. Even the new central lube system has been reproduced on the rear of the body along with a plastic safety mirror. |
The body casting has been cleverly engineered and includes cutouts to replicate the various cooling grills (as pictured below) which are crisply molded, topped with a self-fit plastic mirror which unfortunately does not have a silver or reflective surface. |

The narrow trenching bucket has been implemented well with good tooth and wear detailing while the boom and stick have a very good range of movement, allowing the bucket to fit within the undercarriage footprint. The finish of the model is excellent, as is expected of Conrad with an authentic blue and light grey colour scheme with crisp printing of the Kibag name and logos, pictured below alongside the Liebherr R954C in the same company colours.
