1:50th Scale Putzmeister M52 Concrete Pump

Presented here is the latest version of the Putzmeister M52 concrete pump from Conrad which is based on a MAN chassis. The cab has self fit rear view mirrors and a replicated interior with metal access steps. Both front axles have working steering with realistic rubber tyres and silver wheel hubs.

The rear of the model has a low mounted hopper with lift up black metal cover, plastic shroud and filtering grate with access steps located on both sides of the hopper, complete with silver grab rails. The large pump cylinders are visible and metal piping has been added throughout the model.

The footprint of the model is huge once the TRDV pattern outriggers have been fully extended and give the model a steady base. The pads can be lowered and the front legs are composed of four telescopic sections which give a small footprint for travelling and offer good stability when deployed.

The five section Z-fold boom is made of metal and does have a fair bit of weight to it. The hydraulic cylinders are very stiff and the boom can be posed as required without it falling down over time. This is another great version of the popular M52 and it is also available on a Mercedes Actros chassis.
