1:50th Scale Putzmeister M36 Concrete Pump

Presented here is the Putzmeister M36 concrete pump from Conrad.

The model is based on a 3-axle Mercedes Actros chassis with front steering axle and authentic looking rubber tyres fitted to the silver wheel hubs. The cab has interior detailing with self fit rear view mirrors and clear plastic lenses in the front bumper.

The four section, Z-fold all metal boom is finely detailed with pipework travelling the entire length of boom to the tip where a rubber discharge tube has been added. Being metal, the boom is heavy but the hydraulic cylinders are stiff enough to hold the boom in the position chosen.

The rear of the model features the detailed concrete hopper with grate, plastic surround and lift up metal cover which has the Putzmeister logo cast into the surface. The main pump cylinders are visible in the centre of the chassis with metal piping fitted from the pump to the slew ring.

The four point, X configuration outriggers can be extended from the chassis and the pads can be lowered to give the model a sturdy footprint which allows the boom to be fully extended without the model tipping over. Access steps to the deck are located on each side of the hopper and large siver grab rails have been added.

The paint finish is excellent with authentic printed markings and is another great addition to the range of  Putzmeister models that have been produced.
