No 6 : Poclain TC45 Tracked Excavator

Presented here is the new 1:50th scale Poclain TC45 tracked excavator from Conrad. It is the sixth release in the Poclain Heritage Collection, and features a new undercarriage casting with the upper structure and digging boom from the TY45 model.

The tracked undercarriage has linked metal track pads with slewing ring and sprocket drive motor detailing all visible. The unusual trapezoidal bucket is used for digging and clearing ditches and is a nice touch to give the model a different look. The bucket and stick are connected to a two piece fixed boom which can be raised / lowered.

The rear of the upper structure is cast with open grills and allows you to see the engine block inside. The cab controls and operators seat have been reproduced and the cab door can be opened . While this model might not be every collectors cup of tee, the TC45 was an important machine in the Poclain lineup and looks great alongside the TY45 model previously released.
