The colours of the Kibag company are very striking and have been applied very well on the model, with the creamy grey front bumper and grill contrasting well with the dark blue colours of the cab and grey guards above the wheels. Self fit rear view mirrors and a radio aerial need fitting to the cab frame which has a replicated interior visible through the front and side windows. The contours of the cab have been captured well, complete with a rear window and plastic air intake which has an intricately cast surface texture.

The cab can be tilted to reveal the engine bay where a mock up of the engine block is located. The silencer box has a chromed front panel with the embossed MAN logo visible with a fuel tank and compartment fixed to the sides of the chassis a metal platform with integrated access steps mounted to the top of the frame. The front axle has working steering which achieves a very good range of movement with the rear axles floating within the simulated suspension frame.

The Kögel company are a manufacturer of trailers for the logistics and construction sectors, producing a range of products including tipping body, flatbed turntable and flatbed semi-trailer designs. The Kögel 2-axle trailer reviewed here features a tipping body which raises to a reasonable height with the multi-stage hydraulic piston extending and holding well, allowing the body to be posed at any position required.

The rear tailgate opens to discharge the load and the trailer frame has protective bars and yellow wheel chocks visible with the Kibag name printed along the sides of the tipping body.

The trailer frame has fold down stabiliser legs and pivoting axles simulating the suspension found on the full sized trailer, topped with treaded rubber tyres with detailed plastic wheel hubs.

The paint finish is excellent with printing of the company logos, fleet number and name on the cab sides and front with additional printing on the sides of the tipping body. The model is packaged in the familiar foam lined inner cardboard wrap with Conrad branded outer printed box and is another good addition to the growing Kibag model fleet. A version of the model with a Mercedes Actros tractor has also been produced and the pair are shown below.
