MAN TGS XL Euro 6 3-axle truck with Meiller Roll On/Off Body
Presented here is the 1:50th scale MAN TGS XL 3-axle truck chassis with Meiller Roll On/Off body from Conrad.
The 3-axle rigid chassis features a tightly turning front axle with silver finished exhaust and fuel tank which is partly hidden behind a plastic protective side frame. The rear wheels have a silver coloured curved protective wheel arch fitted that has a textured diamond plate upper surface.
The LX cabin is accurately modelled with a raised roof line and simple interior highlighting the rear bunk bed for extended journeys. Externally, rear view mirrors with matching red front surfaces and silvered mirrors need fitting into the holes in the frame. The entire cabin can be tilted forward to uncover the modelled engine block beneath.
The main grill has a very fine textured surface which looks authentic, complete with a central structural element with front towing bracket and integrated ledge allowing the driver access the windscreen. The gloss black panel has the raised MAN name which is chromed, as is the logo integrated into the top edge while the lower front body panel is finished in a matching red with inset clear glazed lights and silver finished access steps.

The Meiller design roll on & off truck is again another very well engineered model featuring a fully functional loading system with telescopic and pivoting frame allowing the body to be shown through the full loading & unloading cycle. |
The body locks into place when loaded and can tip to a very realistic height with side hinged opening rear doors fitted. |

The paint finish is of a high standard throughout allowing the casting details to be seen with authentic printing of the truck's type and Euro 6 markings on the sides of the cabin with the Meiller brand located on the rear body frame. The model is pictured below alongside the Liebherr L576 wheel loader which is finished in the Rino company decoration which is a close match to the red truck colours.
