Liebherr R924 Compact Tracked Excavator

Presented here is the Special Edition 1:50th scale Liebherr R924 Compact tracked excavator model in VINCI livery from Conrad which has been commissioned for an internal event.

The detail level is good for a model so small with the body casting including cutouts to replicate the various cooling grills, giving it a good three-dimensional appearance with a grey painted interior. 

The newly styled cab is highly detailed with handrails, mirrors and internal controls. Even the new central lube system has been reproduced on the rear of the body. The undercarriage is supperb, with sprung loaded idler wheels and individually linked metal tracks all adding to the level of realism.

The bucket has plenty of detail, including wear protection while the boom and stick are fully operational, including being able to raise the boom so the stick fits within the undercarriage footprint, just like the full sized machine.

The finish of the model is supperb, as is expected of Conrad with very good printing of the VINCI Construction logos and blue stripe around the body. This is another good addition to the VINCI Group stable.
