Liebherr R924 Compact Tracked Excavator

Presented here is the limited edition 1:50th scale Liebherr R924 Compact tracked excavator model in Eurovia livery from Conrad. A version of the R924 Compact has already been released in EBL livery and the Eurovia version presented here has a white undercarriage and tracks with Eurovia printing on the boom, cab and body.

The detail level is amazing for a model so small. The body casting has been very well done and includes cutouts in the body casting to replicate the various cooling grills. 

The newly styled cab is highly detailed with handrails, mirrors and internal controls. Even the new central lube system has been reproduced on the rear of the body. The undercarriage is supperb, with sprung loaded idler wheels and individually linked metal tracks all adding to the level of realism.

The bucket is nicely done and has plenty of detail, including wear protection while the boom and stick are are fully operational, including being able to raise the boom so the stick fits within the undercarriage footprint, just like the full sized machine.

The finish of the model is supperb, as is expected of Conrad with very good printing of the Eurovia logos, including the VINCI details which are tiny and yet perfectly readable. This is another good addition to the VINCI stable and is available now from the Vinci Online Shop.
