Presented here is the 1:50th scale Liebherr R313 tracked excavator, the smallest tracked excavator in the companies current lineup from NZG. The model is decorated in the Karp-Kneip company colours which are very striking. Karp-Kneip was foundered back in 1898, based in Luxembourg and today, the company serves general construction and road building activities in a number of countries including Germany, Belgium and France. The new body styling for the series 3 machines is clearly presented here with the extending counterweight with embossed Liebherr name and integrated rear facing lights and rounded body with full size operators cab.

The model features individually linked tensioned tracks with a working blade mounted to the undercarriage. The wide dimensions of the track pads give the model a robust appearance with the track frames having good access step and bottom roller detailing.

All the door panel detailing has been added to the castings with door latches and grills all highlighted well.

The external cab casting has a roof mounted window with extending glazed sunscreen with a photo-etched windscreen wiper. Grab rails are fitted to the front and rear of the cab frame with integrated rear view mirrors and highlighted door handle.

. The two piece adjustable boom has a full range of movement and hydraulic pipe work has been added throughout. The standard digging bucket is connected to the stick with a quick coupler and two removable pins. For a small model, the amount of detail is terrific and the colourful paint scheme adds to the appeal with crisp printing of the markings and logos.
