Liebherr R313 Tracked Excavator in Karp-Kneip Lievery

Presented here is the limited edition 1:50th scale Liebherr R313 tracked excavator, the smallest tracked excavator in the companies current lineup from NZG. The model is decorated in the Eurovia company colours and is available from the VINCI Online Shop.

The model features individually linked tensioned tracks with a working blade mounted to the undercarriage. The wide dimensions of the track pads give the model a robust appearance with the track frames having good access step and bottom roller detailing.

The new body styling for the series 3 machines is clearly presented here with the extending counterweight with embossed Liebherr name and integrated rear facing lights and rounded body with full size operators cab.

All the door panel detailing has been added to the castings with door latches and grills all highlighted well. the replicated cab interior is visible through the glazed windows which are accented with black printing simulating the rubber window seals which adds a little more realism.

The external cab casting has a roof mounted window with extending glazed sunscreen with a photo-etched windscreen wiper. Grab rails are fitted to the front and rear of the cab frame with integrated rear view mirrors. The familiar blue and red stripe is printed across the lower side of the cab with the Eurovia logo and name printed on the side of the engine housing.

The two piece adjustable boom has a full range of movement and hydraulic pipe work has been added throughout. The standard digging bucket is connected to the stick with a quick coupler and two removable pins.

For a small model, the amount of detail is terrific with a quality paint finish and crisp printing of the Eurovia graphics and markings. The model is pictured below alongside the Mercedes Sprinter service van in Eurovia livery.
