1:50th Scale Liebherr LR634 Tracked Loader

The LR634 is the largest machine in the range of Liebherr tracked loaders at a weight of 21-22 ton. The Liebherr hydrostatic travel drive with electronic control is at the heart of this machine and Conrad have produced an accurate and detailed 1:50th scale version in the Jean Lefebvre company decoration, part of the VINCI Group.

The front of the machine has functional loader arms which can be raised/lowered with a Z-bar bucket linkage and standard 2.4 cubic meter bucket with detailed teeth and underside wear plate protection detailing.

The tracks are individually linked with good surface detailing and rotate smoothly thanks to the tensioned idler wheels keeping the tracks taut. The engine door panels and storage compartment doors have the handles highlighted in black paint for added realism and the printed grill pattern on the sides of the engine bay look good.

The engine is mounted at the rear of the machine and the model has a working three shank radial ripper which can be raised/lowered.

The new cab design with large glazed area is fully modelled with detailed interior and operator controls. Outside the cab are windscreen wipers and plastic grab rails with integrated rear view mirrors which are supplied in the box and require fitting in the holes provided. Work lights have been integrated into the roof structure with an air conditioning unit located high up behind the cab.

The paint finish is excellent as expected from Conrad and the colours are in the modern white with green and orange stripes of the Jean Lefebvre company with crisp printing of the company name on the sides. the model is pictured below loading one of the historic Jean Lefebvre decorated Mercedes-Benz LAK 2624 tipper trucks.
