Liebherr L586 Wheel Loader - Hilti
Presented here is the limited edition, 1:50th scale Liebherr L586 wheel loader in Hilti company decoration from NZG. The L586 is the largest model in the wheel loader range and the model from NZG has accurately captured all the details and realism of the full sized machine. The grey and green colours of the Hilti company are very close to those of Helmreich with crisp white printing of the logos and company website details.
The engine covers are accurately cast with side and top grills and cut-outs all visible, complete with metal hand rails and anti slip panels recreated on the rear wheel fenders.

The front bucket features wear plate protection and well defined tooth detailing with Z bar linkage which has a good amount of movement and flexible hydraulic pipework added to the hydraulic pistons. The boom arm hydraulics are stiff allowing the bucket to be positioned at any height chosen. |
The rear lights are integrated into the bumper with silver and amber painted lenses while two additional rear facing work lights are integrated into the bonnet panel with the Hilti logo printed on the rear and sides of the engine bay. |

The cab interior is fully reproduced with operator controls and operators seat clearly visible through the clear windows. The front debris protection screen is made of plastic and can be removed from the model by following the printed instructions, allowing a clearer view of the interior.
The rear axle has functional oscillation and freely rotating wheels with authentic treaded Goodyear rubber tyres whilst the articulating steering features working hydraulics and a reproduced drive shaft to the front axle. The Liebherr PR764 dozer has also been produced in the Hilti colours and they make a nice set.
