The all metal drum is fairly heavy which gives the entire model a good, quality feel as expected from Conrad. The drum rotates smoothly with a black plastic ring offering a little resistance with the hydraulic motor housing and water tank all accurately replicated.

The wheels have plenty of detail with authentic treaded tyres and working steering of the front two axles. The guards above the rear wheels have a textured diamond plate pattern with integrated rear facing light housings, complete with painted lenses.

Fixed chute extensions have been added to the guards on each side for added realism.

The rear discharge chute is mounted to a pivoting arm which can be adjusted while the chute itself can be positioned left or right. A platform with accurately scaled safety railing and access ladder has been added to the rear.

The Actros cab is highly detailed with two holes in the roof where the flexible plastic aerials need fixing. Rear view mirrors also need adding to the cab frame which has crisp cast detailing with highlighted door handles. The front of the cab has been accurately captured with the chromed Mercedes Benz logo prominent with inset grills with a textured surface giving a quality look to the model.

The silver silencer and exhaust are mounted behind the cab on one side with an air intake and filter fixed to the other side.

Interestingly, this model does not feature a tilting cab which is unusual for a Conrad model, although in my opinion, this does not take anything away from another very good release, especially considering the excellent retail price from the Liebherr online shop.
