1:50th Scale Liebherr A904C Wheeled Excavator "50,000 Special Edition"

Presented here is the special, limited edition 1:50th scale Liebherr A904C wheeled excavator which has been commissioned to celebrate the 50,000th excavator to roll off the production line. The model is painted in a white colour scheme and is an exact replica of the full sized machine displayed at Bauma in 2007.

The undercarriage features front mounted working blade and two point outriggers at the rear. The wheels are freely rotating but do not feature working steering. The 3.8 Metre hydraulically adjustable boom is fitted with a stick and quick coupler modelled on the Liebherr quick change system, complete with hydraulic hose detail and a set of work tools consisting of a wide grading bucket and clamshell grab. The grading bucket has working tilt mechanism while the clamshell grab has 360 degree rotation and opening clamshell.

The printwork on the body of the model is exceptional with the full history of the hydraulic excavator captured, from the L300 in 1954 through to the A954C material handler in 2006.

The operator's station and controls are fully modelled and the cab exterior has plastic grab rails and rear view mirrors added. The new "C" version styling is present on the model with sloping engine cover and LIEBHERR markings on the boom. This is a great celebration piece and being limited, is likely to be highly sought after.
