1:32nd Scale Komatsu PC14R Tracked Excavator

This is the new 1:32nd scale Komatsu PC14R tracked excavator from Universal Hobbies. This is the first 1:32nd scale Komatsu model produced by Universal Hobbies and it is certainly upto their extremely high standard of detail. Once again, eveything found on the real machine is visible on the model from the digging bucket with detailed teeth to the operators station with all the hand controls,  foot pedals and grab rails reproduced.

Even the seat adjustment controls have been modelled which is the reason these latest models from Universal Hobbies look so realistic. The undercarriage has rubber tracks and rotating drive and idler wheels along with a dozer blade.

The boom, stick and bucket are all pinned together so it is still surprising that most of the other Komatsu models are assembled with screws. This model proves that Universal Hobbies are more than capable of using pins or rivets. Hydraulic hoses have been added to the model and the cylinders have check valves visible. There is even a boom mounted work light, complete with electrical cable which finishes off the model nicely.

The paint finish is excellent with all warning and safety markings added. Most of the model is made of metal and this is another supperb release, even if it is in 1:32nd scale.
