1:50th Scale Komatsu CK25 Tracked Skid Steer Loader
This is the new 1:50th scale Komatsu CK25 tracked skid steer loader from Universal Hobbies. For such a small model, the amount of visible detail is amazing.
The front bucket can be tipped and the boom can be raised/lowered with authentic movement of the loader arms. Flexible hydraulic hoses have been added to the lift and tip cylinders which is great on a model so small. There are ever hydraulic check valves cast into the loader arms for front mounted attachments, just like the real machine.

The operator station has all the details of the real machine including hand controls, safety information panels, front facing work and indicator lights, roof mounted beacon and glazed rear window. Even the pull down safety bar has been added which is a nice touch.

The detailed track frames with authentic rubber tracks and pad detail feature a raised sproket drive and rotating idler wheels. The rear of the model is also highly detailed with authentic radiator grill, rear facing brake and indicator lights and full Komatsu markings.
This model has been assembled with small pins which is a welcomed change from the ugly screws used on most of the Komatsu range released so far. The paint finish is excellent with all warning and safety markings added. Most of the model is made of metal and this is another highly detailed model to add to the Komatsu 1:50th scale model fleet.
