JLG Atlas II Military Telehandler (Desert Tan Version)
Presented here is the 1:32nd scale JLG Atlas II military telehandler.
The model has a distinctive rugged look with numerous functional components and good quality paint finish in the authentic military desert tan colour scheme with low visibility markings.

The front axle features a realistic axle levelling system with fully functional steering and well defined rubber tyres with authentic tread pattern.
There are a number of lifting eyes located at numerous points on the model to allow the Atlas II to be air lifted. |

The rugged front light clusters have protective guards and realistic looking glazed lenses while cab mounted lights have also been added to the model.
The fully enclosed cab has a fully reproduced cab interior with all operator controls and seat visible through the clear glazed windows.
A protective grill is integrated into the cab roof and rear view mirrors and windscreen wipers are all fitted. |

The rear of the model features a steering axle with fully realistic rubber tyres and excellent moulding of the wheel hubs showing the disk brake cover and wheel nut detailing.
The rear frame has more lifting eyes and a pintle hitch with rear facing working lights and side mounted counterweights which are used to provide stability when reaching forward to pick up heavy loads. |

The side mounted hydraulic and diesel fuel tanks are fully defined with authentic markings and silver filler caps.
The engine is fully enclosed providing good protection with only the air intake system prominent at the back of the model. |

The three stage telescoping boom has a lift and lock system allowing the boom to lock into place when fully extended with strong hydraulic cylinders allowing the boom to be positioned at any angle chosen.
The boom features a removable metal bar holding the pallet fork in place and a separate set of pallet forks are provided in the box which can be changed over to simulate loading of large and small loads, just like the full sized machine.
The packaging consists of a clear plastic inner carton which securely holds the model. The outer cardboard box has an open front so the model can be seen while the back of the box features details of the real machine. This is one of the third series of models released by JLG and has the part number 80557.
