JCB Open Day (10th September 2005) JCB held an open day to celebrate 60 years of manufacturing construction machines. The event was held on the 10th September 2005 and thousands of visitors attended to see a number of events, including the famous "Dancing Diggers" and the appearance of the JCB GT along with other attractions held on the JCB headquarters premises. The event started with a tour of the factory where the Loadall and Backhoe loader lines are manufactured. The JCB reception area is pictured above showing some of the thousands of visitors to the event. This is one of 60 special "Limited Edition" 3CX machines that have been made. This 3CX is one of the 60 machines that has been sold to J.C.Balls. Above is the JCB 714 2-axle articulated dumper. This is the JS175 wheeled excavator. Above is a picture of the 350 Teletruck, Robot skid steer and 1CX backhoe. This is the JCB 456 wheeled loader, the largest that JCB manufacture.
