International TD24 Dozer with Karry Arch

This is the International TD24 cable operated dozer with towed Karry logging arch in 1:50th scale from Spec Cast. The level of detail on this model is very good with linked metal tracks, working cable blade and towed logging arch.

The individually linked metal tracks are supperbly detailed and are a nice replication of the tracks on the real machine. The detail provided in the operators station is impressive with all operator controls fully recreated including foot controls, levers and the dials on the instrument panel are visible. The tubular ROPS frame has roof panel and rear mesh safety screen with front mounted dozer blade with cable operated winch allowing the blade to be raised/lowered as required.

The open engine compartment shows off a highly detailed engine block behind the protective screens with twin exhaust stacks and a rear mounted cable winch and drawbar connected to the Karry arch. the Karry arch is riveted in place which is a shame as it would have been better to allow the attachment to be removed, however, drilling out the rivet will allow the karry arch to be removed.

The oscillating chassis of the Karry arch with detailed metal tracks and hook make an interesting set up and this is yet again another nice addition to the fast expanding range of 1:50th scale International models.
