O&K Motrak S8 Dumper
Presented here is the tiny 1:50th scale O&K Motrak S8 site dumper from NZG. The model is an amazing replica of a very small machine and NZG have added a number of interesting features including the rear wheel suspension and steering linkage.

The rear mounted seat looks very uncomfortable by today's standard and yet it is always interesting to see these old machines released in model form. The steering wheel and foot pedal controls are all replicated on the model behind the small engine compartment.

The rear wheels have a working suspension system and what looks like working steering. On the sample here, the linkage is very stiff and looks like it would break if force is used. |
The tipping skip is hinged and uses gravity to dump the load, just like the full sized machine. A grab handle has been added for the driver to reset the skip.
The tyres have a detailed tread pattern with tractor style tread on the front tyres and a less defined pattern on the smaller rear tyres. This is a great little model and a nice addition to the ever growing historic line up from NZG and is shown below alongside the AS600 dumper to give a comparison of size.
