Atlas 1200 Wheeled Excavator
Presented here is the 1:50th scale Atlas 1200 wheeled excavator from NZG. The digging boom is in two sections and small pins can be removed to allow the boom to be repositioned to give a shorter radius. The bucket linkage is functional and the hydraulics are stiff so the boom can hold any position chosen.

The undercarriage features working steering of the front axle which has a single tyre fitted to each hub. The fixed axle has two tyres per side and they all have an authentic tread pattern moulded into them. |
The cab exterior has simulated rubber window seals painted on with front wind screen wiper and a reproduced interior with control levers and seat all visible through the clear glazed windows. The angular shape of the body has been captured well with cast hinge and cooling panel detailing along with authentic placement of the labels. |

This is a welcome addition to the growing range of historic models that NZG are producing and it has an excellent paint finish with authentic Atlas markings on the engine cover.
