Haulotte MJX970 Multijob

Haulotte MJX970 Multijob

Presented here are the Haulotte MJX970 multijob machines. Two versions have been produced, one with pallet forks and one with digging bucket. This is a really strange looking machine which has been designed to do the job of a number of standard machines like a 360 degree excavator, a backhoe loader and a wheel loader / telescopic handler.

The undercarriage has fully working four wheel steering with detailed rubber tyres with authentic tractor style tread pattern. The rear of the model has fold down stabilisers with pivoting pads while the front of the chassis has the low mounted telescopic loader boom which can be raised/lowered and extended with a tipping quick coupler.

The detail within the cab is very good with detailed operator controls for both front and rear working with the seat positioned in the forward working position. The counterweight has work and indicator lights cast into it with roof mounted work lights front and back and realistic black painted rubber window seals, rear view mirror and side mounted engine compartment with accurately printed grills.

The cab is mounted to the upper carriage which rotates through 360 degrees. The boom mounting features an offset joint which, coupled with the offset boom allows the machine to work in very tight conditions and this has been fully replicated on the model. There is even a quick coupler on the end of the stick and the bucket can be removed.

This is a strange looking model and is surprisingly well detailed for a Joal model in 1:50th scale. The paint finish is good with accurate placement of the Haulotte markings on the boom and body and the casting has been handled well considering the complexity of the boom and loading arm functionality.
