Hamm 3412 "AGRI" Single Drum Compactor
Presented here is the 1:50th scale Hamm 3412 "AGRI" single drum compactor from NZG. The model features additional rear wheels and an updated decoration featuring green wheel hubs, a green finished padfoot drum and green stripe running up the centre of the rear engine compartment.
The collector has the choice to fit the additional rear wheels, or leave it as it comes out of the box (as pictured below). Fitting the additional wheels is straight forward, pulling outwards on the rear wheels to separate them from the metal bar. A longer bar is included and the extra wheels are placed on the inside, re-assembling the wheels by pressing them together. An instruction sheet is included in the box.

The tyres have an authentic tractor style tread pattern for additional grip when compacting soil or soft ground and are freely rotating with good highlighting of the fixing bolts on the central wheel hubs. The model is relatively heavy due to the all-metal construction of the padfoot drum which has been very nicely cast with a green paint finish of the main surface with light grey edge painting contrasting with the dark grey interior. |
The fully enclosed cabin has internal detailing visible through the large glazed windows which have additional printing to highlight it is an "AGRI Compactor". The interior driving station has been included with a central console topped with steering wheel and hand controls integrated into the seat structure.
The cabin exterior has rear view mirror arms integrated into the cab frame with front facing work light housings, a large windscreen wiper and scaled metal grab rails with integrated lights housed in the roof, finished with silver lenses. The paint finish is excellent with quality printing of the Hamm & Wirtgen Group logos.
