1:32nd Scale Dieci Pegasus Telescopic Handler

Presented here is the 1:32nd scale Dieci Pegasus telescopic handler from Ros. The model features 360 degree rotating upper body which allows the machine to be used for lifting as well as standard duties expected of a telescopic handler and to this aim, a side mounted lifting jib is supplied with the model which connects to the boom during use or is stored on the side of the body when not in use.

The plastic personnel basket provided with the model connects to the boom quick coupler with a metal pin and features diamond plate base and extending side panels. Interestingly, there are no pallet forks provided with the model which is a surprise considering pick and place abilities are a major job function of the real machine.

The undercarraige features working extending outriggers with screw threaded jacks which lower to stabilise the machine and both axles are steerable with authentic treaded tyres fitted to the freely rotating wheel hubs.

The centre mounted engine cover opens to reveal the detailed powerplant inside while the upper body has authentic diamond plate platforms and safety markings. Front facing work lights and rear view mirrors are all present which add to the overall level of detail.

The detailed cab interior has visible steering wheel and side mounted indicator panel along with roof mounted protection grill and windscreen wipers fitted to the front and rear windows. The model is a nice addition to any 1:32nd scale collection and it is a pity it is not 1:50th scale. The paint finish is excellent and all markings and warning labels are faithfully reproduced.
