John Deere 200D Tracked Excavator

Presented here is the updated "D" series John Deere 200D Tracked Excavator in 1:50th scale from ERTL. The model is from their "High Detail" series and follows the trend of producing models with good detailing and opening compartments. The updates include the new colour scheme with grey boom and updated markings.

Being a high detail model, there is a detailed engine block situated under the newly styled opening engine cover, The cab is detailed inside and the boom is fully functional with hydraulic pipework visible. There's even auxiliary pipework detail on the stick.

The individually linked metal tracks are a very nice addition to the model and are highly detailed with grouser and bolt detailing on each pad. The paint finish is excellent.

 The detail on this model is good for the price and is a good update to the 200C and another great addition to the John Deere model series, pictured below alongside the bigger Deere 450D LC trached excavator.
