John Deere 200C LC Tracked Excavator

This is the John Deere 200C LC Tracked Excavator in 1:50th scale from ERTL. The model is from their "High Detail" series and feature a host of improvements on their standard 200C model.

Being a high detail model, there is a detailed engine block situated under the opening engine cover, The cab is detailed inside and the boom is fully functional with hydraulic pipework visible. There's even auxiliary pipework detail on the stick.

The individually linked metal tracks are a very nice addition to the model and are highly detailed with grouser and bolt detailing on each pad. The paint finish is excellent.

 The detail on this model is good for a model that costs around £20-£25 and is a great addition to the John Deere model series. The use of large silver headed rivets on the boom really does spoil an otherwise fantastic model.
