DAF 105 Truck with Flatbed Trailer & Construction Load
Presented here is the 1:50th scale DAF 105 truck with flatbed trailer and construction sewer pipe load in the Keith Murray Transport company colours from Corgi.
The three axle trailer is rather basic with a simulated wooden deck highlighted with brown paint and a red coloured rear panel with painted brake, reversing and indicator lights along with numberplate and yellow panels.
The model comes with an authentic sewer pipe load consisting of three separate sections, each depicting different diameter pipe sections which are nicely done and covered with a blue coloured tarpaulin sheet with orange tie-down straps.
The DAF 105 tractor has been nicely modelled with good detailing of the front grill and body panelling, complete with a low mounted chromed light bar and authentic numberplate. The printing throughout the model is of a very high standard with crisp graphics found throughout, complemented with a number of white pin lines.

The roof sports a pair of chromed air horns with a roof panel and driving lights integrated into the roof corners, completed with plastic lenses. The chassis is very basic, as usual for a Corgi model although the fifth wheel coupling is a raised piece and an air tank is located at the rear of the frame. |
The large silver fuel tank is highlighted with red straps while coiled service lines are fitted behind the cab. |
