JCB JS220LR Tracked Excavator with grading bucket

The new JCB JS220 long reach tracked excavator from Motorart is another model that has an undersized bucket fitted which makes the model look strange. The solution here is to paint up and fit a wider grading bucket, supplied by Brian Blackman.

The conversion is very simple to do as the original bucket is held on by two push fit pins which can be gently tapped out and the bucket removed. The same pins can be used to connect the new bucket. The results are a much better and more accurate looking model.
