Custom Models - The Foden 8x8 DROPs Truck

This is my latest project and I have already made some good progress soldering the main components. The model is of a Foden 8x8 DROPs artilliary support truck in 1:48th scale and is supplied as a white metal kit from ASAM Models.

The assembled chassis and suspension was relatively easy to solder and there are some nice details on the cast parts. The cab assembly below is complete and is now awaiting the first coat of primer. The roof is still separate to give access to the inside of the cab for final assembly and detailed painting of the interior.
