Caterpillar 825H Soil Compactor

The Caterpillar 825H soil compactor model in 1:50th scale from Norscot is another model with accurately scaled handrails and plenty of detail. This shows the improvement from Norscot over the last 12 months.

The rear of the model features detailed grill with working lights, rear steps and grab rails all reproduced. The wheels consist of metal blades with pointed tips with self cleaning devices to prevent clogging.

The cab exterior is finished with mirrors and working lights fitted front and back and has a detailed operator station. The front of the model features a working blade which can be raised/lowered. Another feature on the model is a locking bar which prevents articulation. This is functional on the model.

This is another good model from Norscot and I can only hope that all future Norscot models are this well detailed.
