The undercarriage is highly detailed and features full drivetrain to the front and rear wheels which are all free rolling. The front wheels are steerable and finished with single "chunky" tyres which makes a change from the normal pair of narrow tyres found on the other wheeled excavator models produced. The pair of stabilisers can be lowered and the front blade is fully functional.

The cab is highly detailed with all the operator controls visible through the clear windows. The cab roof contains a window and working beacon. The body casting contains accurate case markings which are crisp and help to finish the model.

The boom is a single piece with stick and bucket. While there are no hydraulic hoses on the model, the hydraulic cylinders are well detailed with pipework cast into the plastic.

The finish of the model is to Conrad's usually high standard with crisp markings on the boom and body castings. Along with the new Case 580 and 695 models, Case are making a concerted effort to provide the collector with a great range of highly detailed models with even more new models in development.
