Case 921C "High Detail" Wheel Loader

This is the 1:50th scale Case 921C wheel loader model from Ertl. The model is from their "High Detail" model range and features opening engine compartments with detailed internal engine. The paint finish is well done with crisp markings. The level of detail is better than what is typical from an Ertl model but the high detail series of models still suffer from large silver rivets.

The bucket tips and the loader arms can be raised / lowered. The wheels have an authentic tyre tread pattern and roll freely. The engine compartment has four opening covers, two on each side which reveal the internal engine detail. This is a nice touch on the model but is not up to the same standard as the Volvo wheel loader models from Motorart.

Overall, this is a relatively good model which complements the range of Case models well and looks good when displayed with the other Case models from Ertl.
