Case 50th Anniversary Backhoe Loader

This is the new Case backhoe loader in 1:50th scale from Ertl. While the model itself is very basic in terms of detail, this special anniversary model is striking in the metallic black and chrome colour scheme. 

The printwork is excellent with crisp markings on the loader arms, bonnet and backhoe boom while the cab windows have murals of the first backhoe loader on one side, and a futuristic backhoe loader on the other side, as shown below.

This is a nice model considering it is basic and there should be a Conrad 1:50th scale backhoe model released in 2007 in the same 50th Anniversary colour scheme which will be much more detailed.
