Case 1021F Wheel Loader

Presented here is the 1:50th scale Case 1021F wheel loader from Motorart. When the case loader model was first announced, it was of the type 1121F, the flagship machine in the Case loader range. On release, the model has become the 1021F, a slightly smaller version weighing in around 24.5 ton in Z-bar linkage configuration with a powerful Tier 4i 6-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine.

The model uses the same castings as the New Holland W300C wheel loader and is finished in the Case decoration. The opening engine cover reveals a modelled and decorated interior dominated by the large cooling pack while the photo-etched steps leading up to the replicated cabin are a nice touch.

Metal safety railings and grab rails are also very welcome and the model features an articulating frame with oscillating rear axle, deep treaded tyres and a fairly good range of movement of the loader arms and bucket

The cabin interior has been modelled with a central column with steering wheel and driver's seating visible within, while the cabin frame has integrated metal rails with rear view mirrors, thin guage grab rails and silver painted lights integrated into the roof with a front windscreen wiper.

The paint finish has been evenly applied to a high standard with authentic placement of the Case name and machine designation. This is a very good release from Motorart with plastic only used sparingly where needed, resulting in a heavy and sturdy replica.
