Avant 640 Wheel Loader
Presented here is the 1:25th scale Avant 640 wheel loader from Conrad. The Avant 640 is the latest in the 600 series range of utility loaders sporting a 37.5hp diesel engine at the heart of the articulating chassis with an impressive lift capacity of 1100kg to a height of 2.8 metres. Travel speed is 22km/h and a number of cabin options are available.

The open cabin has a ROPS frame with a part metal, part glazed roof panel with both front and rear light housings mounted below the roof line and finished in silver. The floor casting has raised pedals with a steering wheel and side console with white printed dials and a joystick lever to control the operations of the arm. |

The telescopic boom has a very realistic range of movement with the quick coupler allowing the two included attachments to be interchanged although on the sample, this is a very tight fit so care is needed.
The rear engine housing has textured air inlets and a large rear grill panel with the interesting articulated frame design with forward articulation point achieving a good range of steering movement. The wide tyres have a deep tractor style tread pattern with silver finished wheel hubs showing the fixing bolt heads.
