Ammann AV110X Tandem Vibratory Roller
The AV series of tandem rollers have been developed to meet the demand for todays raod building projects and features double joint frames allowing crab steering on both sides of the machine along with a high mounted cab with integral ROPS/FOPS offering an excellent all-round view of the work area, drum edges and sprinkler system. All these details have been accurately captured in the 1:50th scale AV110X model from Ros.

The front and rear drums have a silver finish on the outer surface with painted inner edges and flexible hydraulic piping has been added to each drive motor. Integrated grab handles have been cast into the frames and anti-slip textured steps are fitted to the cutouts in the main body panels. |
The cab interior has been accurately captured with driver's seat and control console visible through the clear windows. Rear view mirrors are fitted to the cab frames and windscreen wiper detailing is cast into the windows and picked out with black paint. |

The double joint articulated frame has been fully replicated on the model and features the ability to perform crab-steering on both sides to give close control when working alongside paving stones. There is also a slight oscillation of the front and rear frames to simulate the ability to adjust over uneven ground. Other details on the model include the Vulkolan scrapers which keep the drums clean and the hydrostatic drive motors fitted to the drums.
The model is packaged in a two piece polystyrene carton with outer printed box and is the first in a range of Ammann models being produced by Ros. The ASC110 is the latest addition and both are pictured below.
