ABI TM12/15 Piling Rig on SR35T Carrier
Presented here is the 1:50th scale ABI TM12/15 piling rig on a SR35T carrier from Conrad. The tracked carrier is a Sennebogen and has the distinctive counterweight design whilst the undercarriage has rubber tracks which shows that this model is now quite old in comparison to the last couple of years where linked metal tracks are now found on models of this size.
The model can be posed in it's travel position and the hammer head is removable, using a plastic clip and friction to stay in place.

The mast can be extended and does slide along the carrier fitted to the boom. The sliding holder which carries the hammer also slides along the boom and a flexible plastic strip is used to simulate the hydraulic lines to the hammer.

The top of the mast has a crane jib which rotates through 360 degrees but does not have a functioning cable, so there is a short length of rope attached to a hook. |
The cab has large glazed windows with a visible seat, joystick controls and display console visible within. Grab rails are cast into the cab frame and a textured protection screen is fitted to the roof to protect the roof window from falling debris.
The paintwork is excellent with the distinctive ABI green and white colour scheme and an accessory set is also available that allows the model to be posed in several different working configurations, including an auger drill and a multihead piling attachment. The set is supplied with several sheet piles and a metal holder which allows the three attachments to be displayed.
