1:50th Scale Mack Granite Tractor with Talbert Lowboy Trailer
Presented here is the Iowa liveried Mack Granite tractor with Talbert trailer in 1:50th scale from First Gear. The three axle tractor features opening engine compartment revealing a fully detailed engine block and associated components. The cab interior is visible through the clear windows and opening side doors and has an amazing level of interior detail.
The front tyres have authentic tread pattern with working steering. Chrome fuel tanks are added to the chassis along with the chrome exhaust stack and rear rack.

The detachable gooseneck has simulated raise cylinders but is not functional. The rear of the trailer has suspension detail and brake lines are visible. Flexible rubber mud guards with "Talbert" logos have been fitted along with "wide load" warning panel and warning beacons. |
The Talbert three axle low bed trailer features a detachable goose neck and detailed swing out extension panels, complete with simulated wooden planks. The bed has simulated wooded flooring with flip over loading ramps, hydraulic and service lines and authentic rubber tyres with tread pattern.

The roof has fitted warning beacon, air horns and sun visor while the cab doors have fitted rear view mirrors. The front mounted "Wide Load" warning panel is removable.
Flexible service lines are visible behind the cab and the fifth wheel can be tilted slightly although there is no working coupling as is now found on the Sword trucks.
There are a number of plastic parts on the model but it is very hard to identify what is plastic and what is metal as the colour match is excellent. This is another fantastic truck model at an amazing price for the level of detail.
